126 emails received between 9am and 6pm today. That’s work emails only, haven’t counted personal, and NOT including SPAM or junk.
I’m not sure if this is a lot or not as I have no source for comparison, it just felt like a lot today. So I’m going to do another count soon to see if email is taking over my life, as I suspect.

A quick calculation shows one email received on average every 3.8 minutes. So if I took 3.8 minutes to read and reply to an email then I’d do nothing but email all day! Doesn’t sound right…and just as well I deal with email in more like 3.8 seconds each.
